2023 SPRING SUMMER COLLECTION 'MARÉTTA'
:”Visualize small but meaningful ripples in the stillness from nature” Marétta is Italian for a small wave of a calm sea. Things we tend to overlook, such as small but meaningful ripples in the stillness. Little discoveries in the freedom of walking in the landscape and nature and not being bound by anything. It's about discovering things you wouldn't normally looking for. The wind blows, the chirping of birds, the rustling of grass leaves, and the rings of trees. Together with these, I started the collection with the desire to visualize these discoveries from nature. Also The fabric applied to the collection was also applied with the consideration of touching the raw materials in nature. Came up with women riding bicycles in the 19th century. They enjoy riding bicycles and taking care of their own lives regardless of other people's opinions and they look soft and shy, but confident, I felt that there is connection with discoveries from nature. The way they change their environment little by little and freely and naturally harmonize is similar. The silhouettes in the collection inspired by their freely fluttering outfits in the wind.
