Transforming Performance into a Typographic Dance
Danzafono 3.0 is an interactive digital experience inspired by a performance of the same name, crafted by dancer Salud López.
In the original performance, the audience selects a word from a list of 10 and reads it aloud. Each word is linked to a specific dance movement that the dancer executes upon its pronunciation. The audience has control over the rhythm, frequency, and sequence of the dance.
Transitioning to the digital realm, Danzafono 3.0 brings the experience to the screen. It employs creative coding and dynamic typography to set a digital stage for the audience. Each word chosen by the user triggers a unique interaction. This time, it's the machine that performs the dance based on the words, rhythm, and sequence chosen by the participants.
With Danzafono 3.0, users get to choreograph a digital dance, delving into a creative fusion of technology and human expression.
