The HKS 3000+ colour management system provides digital access to all 3,520 true-to-print HKS spot colours for coated paper and uncoated paper. The Creative tool HKS 3000+ software is easy to use and directly communicates with all professional graphics programmes. With 3,520 spot colours, HKS 3000+ is the absolute number one in colour selection, and your guarantee for reliable printing The 3000+ colours guides come with a spot-colour sheet and a hal one sheet, reproducing the colour from 10% to 100% in ten-percent intervals, including an overprint in black in 10%, 30% and 50% halftone. Thus, each of the 88 HKS basic colours has 39 variations, yielding a total of 3,520 colours. All of the colours shown on the guides can be mixed as ot colours and supplied by HKS printing-ink plants or licensed partners.

Colourmatch is a periodical published by HKS, the offset printing colour system, to publicise a small selection of the 3,520 HKS colours. Each issue presents a different topic in a specific typographic style. Most of the fonts are produced by smaller type foundries and are shown to their full advantage when printed in spot colours. Since launching Colourmatch, HKS no longer uses any product advertising printed in conventional process colours. Its Colourmatch periodical is a collectable, inspiring medium. Every issue is painstakingly printed in five spot colours and can be subscribed to free of charge at www.hks-farben.de.
