GHIA SUPER-ARROW
A combination of American presence and Italian flair.

The Ghia Super-Arrow is my tribute to the Ghia designed and built concept cars of the 50's and 60's. Personally, those concept cars represent an elegant and sophisticated time in the car design profession.

Carrozzeria Ghia of Turin operated from 1916 through to it's eventual sale to Ford in 1973.
The front is inspired by the Ghia designed Dodge Firearrow II and IV, where a wide central grill volume is flanked by proud fenders.
The Super-Arrow - A combination of American presence and Italian flair.
Tail-lights from the 60's represent some of the best design from the Jet-age. The tail-lights on my Ghia are no different, inspired by jet engines and the appeal of an atomic future. The difference here is I kept all of the details inside the lens to retain the clean exterior.
The all-glass roof deserved some kind of interior. The two prominent gauges are pulled from various Ghia concepts, but the rest is my own design with mid-century modern touches. Soft fabrics throughout send a cozy message as opposed to the leather laden interiors of the day.
The Ghia Super-Arrow is my tribute to the masters who came before us and shaped metal into moving sculptures.
