I was asked by my client to create a printed blanket for a wedding gift. My client wanted the print to be of a landscape and since the couple to be wed were having their wedding in Hawi we decided to go for a scene of Hawi. Working closely with my client we decided on a final design for the piece as well as fabric choice. Once everything had been finalised I set about hand drawing this tropical scene before scanning it in and editing it in photoshop. The final design was digitally printed onto juniper linen and then backed with 100% melton wool. The final piece was then hand finished and packed up in a gift box.
