Sense SuperApp is the unified digital bank for personal funds and individual entrepreneur’s accounts.
The entire Sense SuperApp is available on just 5 buttons of the main menu:
• Desktop — the financial heart: accounts, operations that are important for users,
history of money flow, operations templates;
• Products — management of all current products and issuing new ones that the bank
can offer;
• Profile — full app customization & profile settings;
• Now — inner media about finances, lifestyle, and bank news;
• Chat — The service of quick answers 24/7 in chat or video chat.
Overview
When I joined to the Sense team, my primary task was to create a convenient user interaction with the mobile application and the development of functionality for the
Money box, reducing the Interaction cost.
Phase 1, MVP
First of all, we needed to show how we can implement the money box functionality in the new application. The features we needed to implement for the first release of the program consisted of only the most basic:
• Opening;
• Editing;
• Сlosing;
• Withdrawal and replenishment;
• Changing the goals and name of the money box;
• Setting up an individual replenishment method or choosing a template;
• Gamification of the process of setting the replenishment conditions.
We wanted to make the process of creating a money box not just linear, but interesting,
so we decided to gamify it. The main concept was that the user gives up the bad habit
of eating a cake, smoking a pack of cigarettes or a bottle of beer during the day.
And he saves the money saved for a vacation or a new bicycle.
Phase 2
After the release of the MVP piggy bank into production, we saw that our customers encountered some problems such as:
• Change the date of replenishment of the money box;
• After a long time, users wanted to disable regular replenishment because the debit
date for the piggy bank did not suit them;
• The ability to replenish the money box not with a large monthly payment, but with
small balances (pennies) from transactions.
Therefore, it was decided to develop and implement a new functionality:
• Disabling regular top-up
• Connection of rounding operations up to 1, 10 and 100 hryvnias
Phase 3, WEB
After the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, there was an increased need for Ukrainian users
to open Collections with a large budget for joint money boxes and accumulation to help civilians and military. Therefore, it was decided to simplify this process as much
as possible and provide the opportunity to interact with the Collection without having
an account in the Sense Bank application. Now the user can simply follow the link and
top up the collection via the WEB from any bank.
