Doodles in pocket

I had the idea to draw doodles in my pocket, there was nothing special here. It was supposed to be an ordinary black-and-white drawing. With such thoughts, I created my first sketch

At the second stage of creating this drawing, I realized that I was missing details, everything turned out to be too simple and uninteresting. So I added a few extra lines and decorated everything with a heart

Having almost completed my drawing, I moved on to the final stage - adding shadows. But suddenly I wanted to paint these tentacles in different colors because they began to remind me of some sweets from my childhood. After that, when I moved on to adding shadows, I also decided to add some light shadows, and see how it would look, because usually I only add gray.
I liked what I saw at the end, it was no longer that simple and uninteresting sketch, it was something bright, new, and interesting. I like that
