NeoPixel Wall Display Matrix

Wall Display Matrix
This Matrix is designed to display any and everything you can create from sprites to random designs/patterns. It is currently storing 5 different functions it cycles through at the press of a button.

Materials Needed
- Arduino Uno
- 16 x 16 Neopixel Matrix
- 5-12v Power-supply
- Female Barrel Jack Port
- Button
- Foam Core
- Sheets of Wood
- Velcro
- Bread Board
- String of choice to hang from
- 2 Screws
- Optional use of Acrylic material for backing

Build Process:
I used an open-source housing for the matrix and modified it to work with specific matrix and other alterations as needed. Above there is also the models I made for the button, the grid sketch that is used to keep the NeoPixels from diffusing onto one another, a Figma diagram of the codes functionality as well as the wiring schematic.
1.) To begin the assembly, 3D print the housing.

2.) Next, stack two of the grids on top of each other inside the housing.

3.) Then, align the NeoPixel matrix with the grid.

4.) Afterward, insert a sheet of foam core that has a hole cut for the matrix wires to pass through. Simply cut the grid perimeter without adding any extra holes.

5.) Following that, create standoffs in the corners that are approximately flush with the housing's back, where the acrylic can rest. Also, create a standoff for the barrel jack.

6.) Place the button (glued) and Arduino (attached with Velcro) inside and wire them up.

7.) Upload the code of your choice. Note that the Arduino is removable and can be altered as needed.
