This collection is inspired by the Marrakesh element. The design initially begins with a colorful square scarf, following the aesthetics of Marrakesh art styles. However, by the end of the process, there is a development phase during which I modify the composition and colors and i find that I prefer it in the shawl version. Throughout this process, I always keep in mind the importance of understanding the brand identity/platform and the target market for the product. In the case of this type of repetitive floral design, it's easy for it to appear either too plain or too cluttered. To address this, I decided to play with the positive and negative space, maintaining the repetitive and full composition but incorporating subtle thin lines and enhancing specific areas. The development process aims to seamlessly blend with the Asian market and cater to Asian skin tones.
