IPN – Institute of National Remembrance

InDesign

The Institute of National Remembrance – IPN is a Polish state research institute responsible for historical research, education, archives, and the exercise of investigative and lustration powers.

IPN was established by the Polish parliament in 1998. As the Institute's activities evolved over time, rebranding of the visual identity became essential. The logo, featuring the iconic White Eagle state emblem, was redrawn and modernised. In the light of the IPN's extensive involvement in scientific research and publishing, a bespoke typeface Memoria complements the design. The IPN introduced a comprehensive online Design System that encompasses a rich array of graphic assets, and readily available components and templates. This approach ensures that the IPN's visual identity remains cohesive and adaptable across various communication platforms.
