This is one of my first times using the 3D settings in Illustrator and I'm happy with the results. This design uses the Inflate effect and me playing around with the settings. 

 

The only issue I had was in the rendering process but I imagine that's down to a poor graphics card. So this design wasn't rendered in the end and I can notice so many pixels around the edge of the text that even affect the shadow effects, so I created the shadow separately as pixels and Illustrator don't mix in my eyes.
