RÜFÜS DU SOL Canadian Tour
Background
RÜFÜS DU SOL is an Australian alternative dance group. Over the past decade, they have released several records and earned various nominations and awards. As a Canadian fan, I want to see a tour dedicated to their Canadian market.
Objective
To create a poster series that promotes a RÜFÜS DU SOL Canadian tour. The posters will be used in their appropriate cities and digital spaces to attract their target audience.
Inspiration
The inspiration combines RÜFÜS DU SOL's current branding techniques and colours from the Canadian environment.
Design Process
Using an image glitching tool, I created coloured pixelated lines representing Canada's top three major cities: Vancouver, Toronto, and Montréal. I built the typographic strategy off RÜFÜS DU SOL'S current wordmark for branding cohesion.
