Forest Haven Asylum is located in Laurel, MD. It was shut down in 1991 due to abuse, medical incompetence, and the deaths of hundreds of patients. Hidden away, deep in the woods, there are abandoned buildings which include a cafeteria, a church, a hospital, dormitories, classrooms, and more. Beloved toys, clothes, broken computers, hospital equipment, furniture, and so much more were left behind to be forgotten. The building is now covered with graffiti, broken bottles, and cigarettes.
