This academic project was done in semester 6 of my visual communication design course in order to understand the technicalities of a mobile app.
The colour story might seem a little unconventional in terms of food delivery for colour psychology, but, while yellow focuses on the food, blue stresses on a conscious life. Food wastage has increased with the increase in food delivery apps, while restaurants have a system for leftover food, delivery apps don't. There are thousands of food delivery apps, that too, quite good! So when I was assigned with "food delivery" as the category, I wanted to experiment with the visual style and also the user model of food delivery apps.
My personal inclination is towards art direction and visual identity, so I explored and experimented with the visual identity of the product. This project was fun in experimenting with the style while also making sure that consumers are the top priority.
