Ocean Creature Coloring Books
This summer I created mini coloring books for a local kids day. I digitally created artwork of various ocean creatures in Procreate before creating a layout for the book pages in Adobe Illustrator, after the layout was determined, I printed the artwork onto cardstock and carefully handstitched them.
Each spread had artwork of an ocean creature along with a few facts about that creature. It was such a fun project, and a great way to use my skills to create something to encourage kids to learn about our oceans.
The coloring books were put into grab bags with crayons and bubble wands, and were a huge hit among the visiting kids!
The coloring book was formatted like a Zine, printed on cardstock then hand stitched together to carefully align the pages.
Front and back of the center pages - these would be cut in half horizontally, then stitched into the center of the book to create the center pages. Each sheet would create 2 inserts.
