Wanderer is a record of my travels in Lacoste, France, but has no words written inside. Instead, it contains yellow ochre from Rousillion dusted on the pages and features paper made by renowned papermaker Claire Guillot. The book is sewn in an exaggerated do-si-dos, so it can be arranged in several different ways. This mimics the flexibility one has to have through traveling - unexpected situations require quick thinking.

Books are one of the few known methods of time travel and telekinesis. They put another person’s thoughts from another time and place into your head for you to experience. This book may not have words, yet it captures the awe and curiosity that comes from finding oneself in such a strange and wonderful place.
