This shield is the result of a study to consolidate pipeline knowledge. It was built from references of Viking shields found on the internet, using Blender. The painting was done in Substance Painter using customized materials and smart objects to create a unique and realistic look. I used Marmoset to render the shield in real-time, and Bridge to compose a final scene that showcases the piece.
