Hannah & McCabe's Wedding
My good friend was getting married so I offered her my services to do wedding invites and anything else she needed. She sent me an email and said she would be delighted if I would help her out. She then told me her theme and I about fell over, I was so thrilled. I'm a huge nerd and she absolutely loves Lord of the Rings. So with that in mind, her theme came to be Elegant Elvish. She wanted it to be nice and classy but with a vague reference to Lord of the Rings. Between my designs and her and her husbands love of Lord of the Rings, it gradually turned into more than a vague reference to.
I ended up designing their invitation, including the map, info card and RSVP card, the programs, the thumbprint tree (instead of a guest book), table cards, seating chart and a couple of hand painted signs.

A Thumbprint Tree takes the place of a more traditional guest book. The guest stamps their thumprint, forming the trees leaves.
