Imani Boone Portraits
This personal project was inspired by another photographer who used a combination of tube lights and smoke to shoot their photos. I wanted to create something similar, but with my own unique style in terms of colors, light placement, and wardrobe selection.
Imani was the perfect model for this shoot. Her straightened blonde hair contrasted beautifully with the colorful lights and smoky background. We've worked together for years, and it was great to catch up with her during the session.
It took a bit of trial and error to get the lighting right, but in the end, I was really happy with the results. These photos have a definite editorial feel, and they were a lot of fun to create.
