This is a cover that I did for a mystery novel set in the 1920's about a detective searching for a missing girl. I wanted to invoke a feeling of being lost and confused, this is what inspired the idea of a maze for the cover.
I started with a pencil drawing of a circular maze
I then added boxes for the title and author's name, the spine, the description on the back, and a box for a picture of the author.
The boxes filled in with filler text.
The correct title, information, and picture.
Finished project.
