Typographic Business Card
This project was to use the techniques I used in my glyph composition project to make an engaging business card that communicates my personality and my style as a designer.
After lots of brainstorming, variations and small tweaks, my final two business card designs are finished
Design A
For this design I wanted to focus on the tilt and really play into the falling feel of this design. The goal was to make it to feel like the text was sliding around the card to create some movement to catch the viewer's eye.
Design A is focused on a color palette of cornflower and navy blue
Design B
The focal of this card is the glyph design--two Js that create an O. This was the design that had the best reception, I think because of it's novelty. Adding color to this design really added so much to the design, and I felt the soft color palette compliments the soft rounded shapes in the design.
Design B is focused on a color palette of lavender and dark purple
