I was inspired by the historic symbolism of the Ishtar Gate as an emblematic entrance to creativity. Tasked with branding and design, I sought to fuse this ancient inspiration with the project’s mission of community-building and self-expression. Through this, the aim was to visually celebrate the blend of diverse young talents from refugee, asylum-seeking, and migrant backgrounds as they embark on transformative journeys in art, theatre, and other creative disciplines. The result is a design that encapsulates both the rich heritage and the modern aspirations of these young creators.
