This t-shirt design was sparked from an idea of how could we get people to wear our t-shirts more often. I created it and figured if it fails it fails, however my boss thought it was hilarious as well as my student worker, so we sent it to my boss's boss, and he liked it too! So we sent it on to our CIO. He liked it but had some security concerns since QR codes can be used for malicious intent much like anything related to technology. So we sent it over to our security team who approved it and sent it back over to our CIO again who then approved it. Our t-shirts are always a hit and this year was no different! People, however, didn't scan it until weeks into the semester. My student worker discovered a Snapchat story that said "When I finally scan the Tech Commons t-shirt" with a picture of their shocked face.To this day one of my proudest moments is still trolling the entire university so hard that they didn't know they were trolling other people.
