Gaiwan is a common tea set in traditional Kungfu tea sets. At present, the most common way to hold the tureen is to hold the tureen with three fingers, which is called the three-finger method. This method seems elegant, but you need to adjust the gap between the lid and the bowl with your index finger to prevent the tea leaves from pouring out with the water. Difficult to operate, so we designed a solution for the gaiwan tea set to solve this problem.

How to improve the efficiency of tea sets so that more people can drink Kung Fu tea?

Analysis of user pain points

design goal

The specific problems to be solved in our new product design are clarified through the early research results as follows:

First, to explore a new way of filtering tea water to increase the practicality of the product;

The second is to retain the large size of the appearance and add special surface treatment texture to increase the particularity of the cover bowl;

Third, the combination of bamboo and wood materials should be considered to preserve the basic ceramic materials, so as to increase the naturalness of products;

Fourth, expand the grasping area to reduce scalding resistance, and enhance the operability of the cover bowl;

Fifthly, in terms of appearance and modeling, we should consider the inheritance of Chinese elements and increase the cultural nature of covered bowls.
