In this project I explored pop-up book, a traditional media for illustrative stories, as an medium for non-linear storytelling, and particularly in a spatial form. The mechanics such as pulling a tab, unfolding a hidden spread, etc., are rich interactions the reader can choose to engage at their own pace, that help them dig deeper into the story, one layer at a time.
The book is called "A Day of One Thousand Years", it tells three stories time, and especially how characters from different space and time establish connections with each other, in a fictional world of emersive technology.
