Majora’s Mask Characters as my siblings and I.

Majora’s mask was always a childhood game of mine, even if I actually defeated it when I was in high school. I would also always bring me and my siblings into different artworks as to show how much of an impact they were on my life.
I will say that this took a while to do. I had to sketch it out first which would be troubling with my brother behind the link girl aka me. Then when I brought it into Ibis Paint, I first worked on me first because she’s in front. Second I worked on my sister to the right. It was tough because my sister had just shaved her head so I had to make sure I get that detail. But, I also had to get the details of the character she represents.

Third for my brother, I had to make sure his drums were circular and look like they go around his front waist. Plus later I realized he needed a bit of scruff so I added that in later. Lastly I worked on my sister on the left. The toughest part was her instrument and making her body look like it’s made of wood. The instrument in the game is a big trumpet but that would be hard to draw and be in front of my brother. So, I made it into a saxophone.

For color, I added in the color that would be around our skin color and then the colors of the characters that they represent. For my siblings to look like ghosts though, I had to drop their opacity just a smidge. Then I made the background myself with a few color brushes. Lastly, for a nice little touch, I added in the music notes/waves with their respected color. Then it was complete.

It was very nice to make this for my siblings and me. Even if it took a while, it was still fun to do and the outcome was very nice.

I do not own the rights to Nintendo.
