Performance, video

In this performance, I urinate while wearing Lidl shoes. The enthusiasm surrounding the sale of this brand's shoes has been indicative of the values advocated in Western society. The death of beauty is idolized. These shoes, manufactured by the quintessential budget brand, were resold for thousands of euros on resale platforms. I decided to strike poses.
The act of urination was chosen to adhere to the reasoning of a taste for what is not beautiful. Urinating during this performance thus recalled a repugnant act that, within the context of an abolition of beauty, would become rationally valuable.
The chosen location is a parking lot under a streetlight, representing brutalism (a symbol of modernity) in its raw state.
