LA BONNE ÉCHAPPÉE is a French cycling brand that claims to be a declaration of love for cycling, its genesis and its players. It was born in 2021 on the roads of the Vercors (France). First and foremost, it's the story of a group of friends driven by the same passion for cycling. A group with a passion for freedom, experiences, discoveries and encounters, united by shared values. It's a project that resonates like a metaphor for our modern day-to-day lives: the chance to get away from the pack (the daily grind, the masses) and enjoy a unique and singular experience. A true parenthesis that sublimates moments of life centered on sharing, authenticity and simplicity.
I had the opportunity to do a short shoot for the brand's launch, highlighting their first outfit, "LES COQS ORICO". A slightly retro take on the brand, but one that's totally assertive. A little trip back in time and a real wink to pay homage to the heritage of cycling and all that makes it so charming: its legendary riders, vintage jerseys and iconic sponsors.
