Niemierko is a wedding and event planning company best known for their stylish execution and flawless efficiency. We worked closely with founder Mark Niemierko on his newly launched website, which captures the essence of his brand’s values and its commitment to excellence.
Niemierko.com is designed to impress and inspire soon-to-be couples and other potential clients needing a carefully planned event that will wow their guests. It is the company’s shop window, a show case of what’s on offer not only for brides and grooms on their special day, but also to children on their birthdays and to aspiring wedding planners who’d like an introduction into the industry.
Enhanced by soft typography and an elegant colour palette, the wealth of video and image content is surfaced to the foreground in large tiles that fill the screen from edge to edge with vibrant examples of Mark Niemierko’s work. We designed the tiles to take a range of forms and sizes, all perfectly responsive to the user’s device. The tiles can be image-based links to other pages, some are interactive galleries full of beautiful imagery, others are striking videos clips. The typeface combination used across niemierko.com is Futura Standard and Georgia. The timelessness of Georgia's serifs compliments the contemporary aesthetic of Futura. This, together with the delicate nature of the thin gutters and carefully cropped imagery, is a perfect nod to Niemierko’s work: Stylish moments within timeless tradition.
The consistency within the site breaks momentarily for Niemierko Notes. The distinctive looking page is the wedding planner’s journal, a feed of videos and images curated and frequently updated by Mark himself to be a source of inspiration for his followers and prospective clients.
Niemierko.com is a fully responsive website that fits perfectly in every desktop or mobile device, retaining the luxurious experience and full-functionality across all digital platforms.
