On September 21st, we hosted the book presentation for “Blanca and the Ogham Stone” at the Book and Coffee shop in Kilkenny, Ireland.
In the spirit of the Seanchaí (traditional Irish stoyteller) Eamonn O´Keffee relays a children´s story, inspired by events in his youth while growing up in a very different Ireland where the fairies existed and banshees were at large . Young Eamonn and his sister Lella find themselves alone in the woods where they almost come face-to-face with Auld Carty, a misterious man about to whom their parents of their village have warned their children. When Eamonn gets deathly ill and the Far Side boys take advantage, another mysterious person makes their presence known, coming to Eamonn in his time of need. Who is this girl and howdoes she help Eamonn heal and stop the Far side boys from creating havoc?

We designed various promotional items, including posters, postcards, a 2-meter banner, t-shirts, and business cards. The book was written by Eamonn O’Keffee, illustrated by Cristina del Moral, and edited by Sharilyn Grayson.
It’s published by traitmarkerbooks.com, with CEO Robbie Grayson at the helm.
We opted for a square format and had these items printed by Moo.co.uk.
The illustrations were created using Procreate, then vectorized in Illustrator, and the layout for the business cards and other promotional items was crafted in InDesign.
