RANDALL LIBERO - NEW MEDIA PROJECTS PORTFOLIO
Dr. John Gray landing page (left) with two entry points for 2 different one hour TV programs. Virtual player (right) incorporated link's to Gray's merchandise, community, store, video program archives and schedule, and a link to a push page for his new (at that time) book. On the right side were banners that activated 1 minute sponsor commercials in the video viewing area for advertisers within this virtual TV player (like health guru David Wolfe). I started this project when You Tube was only 4 months old (and nobody knew what the heck online video could do) and aggregated more than 1.6 million views in 18 months after launch. The guy who pushed the buttons on these designs for me was named David Rogers, who was then the graphic artist for Modavox, Inc. He was really nice about me hanging over him constantly tweaking all this. We were both making it up as we went along because the interactive integration was so pioneering at the time.
I designed pretty much everything for this website and I was especially proud of the integrated media on it. - www.drjoedispenza.com which unfortunately is now changed to a new site design. I liked mine better. When first launched, this site brought together a website, online store, on demand TV and radio shows, and a monthly pay per view subscription video for Dr. Joe. Really enjoyed this project and working with Joe -- who is one terrific human being and an incredibly intelligent guy.
I came up with the idea for the 7th Wave channel in mid 2005 and it launched a year later in May 2006. Over 7 years, the channel has been been heard by more than 35 million people internationally. My original logo design for the 7th Wave Network radio channel was months in generation and we changed it several times. The "7" is a totally custom font and all the other fonts were modified slightly as well from a font I found.
My redesign for the 7th Wave radio channel logo launched in the latter part of 2008. The background is the Pleaides star cluster (chosen on purpose) with lots of star sparkles and haze added. Now would have toned that down a bit, but still looks awesome. I put this on a T shirt and people would always stop me and ask what the heck 7th Wave meant. It got their attention!!
These are two full page ads / posters that were done in which I came up with the design concepts. The one on the left was run as a national advertisement in 11:11 Magazine. By the way, the caption "Be extraordinary. Be Visionary, Be the Change." is the channel tag line I came up with as well.
This again is an early interactive virtual player (2007) that had built in links going to radio show archives, merchandise, events, in addition to advertisement banners which linked off to sponsor websites. The center played a welcome video which introduced the show to viewers which I shot with Sri and Kira.
This was actually an early version of the tri-layered interactive web banner designs that I created for VoiceAmerica Network programs that I also used for my own radio show. After we launched this style of banner design in 2005, I noticed other media sites started copying the the style and design for banners on their own websites, especially other internet radio channels. It's one of those things you can't prove to people that you did it first because its so common now, but its totally true.
This was done in mid 2011 as the logo for my consulting and media production business. I like the symbolic - metaphoric elements in the pics. Just popped this together on my Mac in about an hour.
This is a video of an interview I did for my talk show SPIRIT OF FILM: CONVERSATIONS with my filmmaker friend Adam Abraham a few years ago.
This was a very interesting challenge to show an interactive product in a 2D presentation. I came up with BOTH tag lines ("stuck" and "get off") which were brand new to the company.
Out of all the radio banners from years ago, this one is still one of my favorites. Dr. Demartini really liked it too. I continued the burgundy coloring that we used for Dr. Demartini's website but added some new touches. He kind of looks like a modern God, doesn't he?
In 2005, SurfNet Media Group was rebranding into Modavox. They delivered this logo - the font with the "X" at the end. But the colors were NOT what you see here. The red was where the green is, the red was "beige" (my God, no) the blue was where the yellow is, and the blue was this salmon color if I remember correctly. There was no green.

I couldn't take this ugly thing, so I had this changed (as a test) and had the graphic designer then send it in and the executives could compare them against each other. Long story short, they choose mine. Thank God they did. This is absolutely true, but I never got credit for it by the company. It was one of those cases where I saw it, and they did not. Education in color theory goes a long way to sometimes saving someone's behind from making a God awful mistake. Rule: primary colors always work better.
In case you missed it at the front of this portfolio, is my new branding, which again I designed by was helped out in the finishing by Michael Rodriguez, a graphic designer to complete the image in May 2012.
A news piece by KTVK-TV in Phoenix, Arizona that was done on my "Spirit of Film: Conversations" radio show with guest Dr. Lynne Kitei, producer of "The Phoenix Lights" video.
An old short video of mine, produced in 1991 (eeek!) but still a special favorite of mine with nearly 2000 views on You Tube!
A marketing video I created and wrote from scratch in 2011 to showcase new marketing services for the Successimo.com community.
Aftermarket Page for Eckhart Tolle Video Pay per View LIVE Webcast - after the 2 day, 9 hour live video event was shot in San Rafael, California, we repurposed the content into this form, which stayed available over the course of the next year and a half. And yes, our event went off without a hitch with 100% customer service, while the Oprah live webcast that Eckhart was on  had numerous and serious technical problems for 3 weeks (she even had an apology displayed on her website about it). This event brought in some BIG money from both the live and this digitally marketed web page - more than $700 Thousand - no kidding. Let's just say it was one of those instances where planning, strategizing and execution all came together right. It was a major milestone in my professional career, to say the least.
Created a private label branded radio network www.Unity.FMfor UNITY (Association of Unity Churches) in 2007. This global spiritual organization was started in the 1880s and this project brought them fully into the 21st Century. I was the Executive Producer for its first two years, and project managed the entire process of the technical build, set up of all content, design elements, audio elements, and training of a network director and internal staff of how to manage this platform on their own in house. It is still running live programming today at www.unity.fm.
