I did this typography design of one of my favorite Bible verses. This design utilizes three different font styles, each playing a specific role and highlighting various parts of the verse. My goal was to present this verse in a new and exciting way. The colors and contrasting fonts emphasize individual parts, making it easier for the viewer to dissect the verse and contemplate its meaning.
In this design, I wanted to make “Anxious Thoughts” give off uneasy Anxious vibes. So, I made “Anxious Thoughts” much bigger than the rest of the type in the verse because anxiety often feels overwhelmingly big. I also made “Anxious Thoughts,” this blaring vermillion color that further makes it feel dangerous. “God” is in the same font and color to show that He is the solution to the problem of “Anxious Thoughts.”
