The project focuses on designing a zero-energy building complex where the primary energy demands are maintained by solar cells. Two apartments are detailed and at least one should be 110 m2 and for a family. The building complex is placed on the old freight area next to the Kennedy Arcade in Aalborg.
The site is well-connected to the city and has areas for public, semi-private and private activities are created by the implementation of a big green slope. This slope also refers to the nearby green area of Østerådalen.
