Collection of prints for Vans

The concept developed for a hypothetical collection for VANS started with the "objectification" of the human gaze upon its natural habitat, always thinking about transforming nature and its natural resources into products and consumer goods. The collection began with the development of a series of symbols that could form abstract visual compositions to create a special line of sneakers, insoles, clothing, and accessories.

This is a Concept Art project.

This is my creative process: from studies and research in nature, to sketches, development, and creations in my studio.
Feeling the matter from its rooted ancestry in Nature, its transformation into a consumer good, and reaching the end of its product life cycle was part of my creative process for this project. Beginning with immersive fieldwork in the midst of Nature, where I started sketching my reflections, and moving into the studio, using paper as the primal medium of the matter in transformation and as a canvas for the materialization of visual symbols as a synthesis of this entire creative process. From these visual symbols, possibilities for combinations emerged, forming the basis for the composition of the final illustrations and patterns.
