The tools I decided to use are a 24 inch stainless steel ruler and a blank painting canvas. Using these tools really helped put more emphasis or focus on the plants I photograph. It also helped me look at my objects differently. When I go to my LTL, I usually see all the plants grouped as one and see how they're all connected. But with my tools I brought, I was able to focus more on the objects and really think about how I wanted to portray them. It was quite fun bringing tools to photograph, I'd like to use different tools next time and see how I can re-contextualize my LTL. I'd like to explore with the animals there next time.
