FLYING CIRCUS

Overview:
This project was undertaken to delve into the capabilities of vector-oriented drawing software in a practical design context. The journey took me from research to pre-visualization, experimentation, prototyping, and finally, digital execution. All designs were crafted using vector-oriented software, specifically Illustrator, showcasing techniques like smooth curve creation, color application, and scanning preliminary drawings. The aim was not just to master the software but to understand the design process, making it transferable across various tools and disciplines.

I conceptualized and illustrated a series of three aeroplanes, each distinct in design yet interconnected by a common theme. Each aeroplane was crafted from scratch, ensuring uniqueness and adherence to the overarching theme.

Theme:
For this project, I chose the theme "Fairy Gardens", drawing on children nostalgia, creating micro-communities amongst our everyday life.

Skills Acquired in Adobe Illustrator:
Learning the creation of smooth curves.
Proficiency in working with a diverse colour palette.
Scanning and integrating preliminary designs.
Tracing scanned drawings to achieve refined illustrations.
Engaging in research, development, and prototyping to enhance the final designs.
