These posters were part of a series of posters for a university project experimenting the flexibility of arabic type when treated along side with english typography. The purpose was to build up a typeface that would be use for both languages upon an adaptation of an existing japanese typeface. The theme of the posters was the ongoing blackout of electricity and the over consumption by household appliences that would lead to such shortage. The copy writing is in both french and arabic as to the existing lebanese tongue and the way we talk in our daily life. Kahraba walla moteor (electrical power or generator power) and takk el desjoncteur (the power supplier went down).
