PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Dunkel is a project I did for the owner of the same-named instagram account. The brief was to create the logo and product design for a dark beer brand.

Since Dunkel is the german word for dark, the name itself already forms a very strong concept that needed to be reflected within the visual identity.

As a lot of other beer brands use a star in their design I decided to instead use the moon - A recognizable symbol that gets free exposure every night.

In combination with a simple black & white palette the product stands out in the shelf and leaves space for some more dark ideas.
