design for Beginner Beatdown's Open Brackets
the first Top 8 I did. playing around with a lot of hard mix, texturing, and "corruption"
the second one! this one has a special place in my heart because it's one of a kind. I wanted to make a top 8 with pure text, so the small icons designed by me around the names are used to represent the characters
the third one, I was asked by Senpo, the winner of this bracket to make a glitch-art inspired piece, calling to mind breakcore aesthetics
this is a merge of everything I've done in the past, requiring 3d posing within blender, to extreme levels of texturing between the checkerboard textures and the various color explosions while still trying to make the character visible in a natural way, and on top of that, an overlay including the small icons I used in Beginner Beatdown Open #2.
