3D Sylvanian Families dolls

3D Sylvanian Families dolls
In the second semester at the Royal Danish Academy, we had a project focused on spatial design. We were tasked with creating an object that would fit into a world we were assigned. This world was set in a future where all adults had perished, and a group of children struggled to survive. It was a kind of apocalypse where people died upon reaching adulthood, a consequence of how the present-day adults had treated the Earth. From this premise, we had to design a 3D object that could be envisioned before the apocalypse, its evolution during the apocalypse, and a further development for the future.
I got the idea to create a Sylvanian Families doll, which I had as a child. I thought a toy would be fitting since the scenario revolves around children. For the pre-apocalypse world, I made a completely normal doll, meant to be played with. In the apocalypse world, I added a keyring in its ear, and for the future world, I disassembled it, making it look broken.

This was my first time working in Blender, and it was a lot of fun to try things out, working with textures, light etc.
