Cowspiracy Film Review and Research Analysis

"Cowspiracy" Film Analysis Project
Project overview:

For my Environmental Ethics course, I wrote a film review and research analysis about the film "cowspiracy". Cowspiracy is a documentary that examines the environmental impacts that animal agriculture causes.

In this paper, I will be validating two facts mentioned in the film. One of which is that “animal agriculture produces 65% of the world’s nitrous oxide”, and the second being that “was that 90-100 million tonnes of fish are pulled from our oceans each year.” This will include research gathered from organizations such as the United Nations and environmental scientists. Following these validations, I will be identifying and explaining the ethical issue of deforestation which was examined in relationship to animal agriculture in the film “cowspiracy”, and will be using sources from the learned modules in the “Environmental Ethics” course to support my explanations. Some of these course materials include non-western views on nature, animal ethics and the concept of anthropocentrism.
