This is a rejected cover for ACDC's "Black Ice" album. One of my personal favorite examples of how I work.

CD cover for "Valleys of Neptune" by Jimi Hendrix. cover is a combination of a beautiful Linda McCartney photo, one of jimi's original drawings and some groovy hubble-space imagery.
"FIRE RED" for the Michael Williams Band. He liked it so much, it is now tattooed on his chest!
"Quebec" for WEEN. They wanted a cover that sort of pictured them as what I thought they looked like after talking to them on the phone... but based on the art from an old Parker Brothers portable game. Definitely an odd way to work, but good guys, nonetheless.
