Where am I now?
My presentation went quite well and I gathered all the information from there and I talked about how how I wanted to explore how different environments affect you and the way you live and explore a connection between place and memory but between rural and urban. After my assessment feedback I had some further ideas on how to expand further on my project and make it more personal and I can look into this more.
I had an upcoming opportunity to go to Czech republic and to photograph somewhere where is home to me I thought it was a perfect opportunity to look at the differences and compare between the first shoots in Stafford where I live and shoot essentially in my other home where I grew up and I think its important to the the personal connection to the work and how that is affecting the photographs and how I work. I have been previously been shooting in black and white as I like the the outcome and was a bit unsure of shooting in colour. I think I've done all my shoots for Stafford now. For these next few shoots I will be shooting in colour and experimenting with it as I want to show like a present memory and how there is more life there than in Stafford and to me Stafford is slowly fading and there isn't too much anymore. When these are all done I'm going to start looking at layouts and printing stuff off because I'm going to find it hard how to sequence the different images I have done as they are completely different.

I want to explore ideas of nostalgia and images that illustrate that and really bring the ideas together. I'm possibly going to make a a photobook with a small narrative and from there see how the images from Stafford and Czechia work together to see how the final outcomes will work together.
