ES: Dentro del mundo del diseño gráfico en Barcelona existe un estudio muy destacado llamado 'Bendita Gloria', al que, desde mis inicios, le tengo mucha admiración tanto por sus proyectos como por su filosofía. Siempre me preguntaba, ¿cómo sería una monografía creada para este estudio tan único y peculiar?
Con su filosofía siempre en mente, me planteé como me los imaginaba ideando y conceptualizando los primeros bocetos de sus futuros proyectos y encargos, y en esta siempre había un factor común: siempre los imaginaba haciendo un vermut en un bar con una libreta en mano y charlando mientras poco a poco les iban surgiendo las ideas, de una manera totalmente natural.
De aquí nace el proyecto 'El Vermut - Una Monografía de Conceptos', representando esta idea mía de su manera de idear tan natural y perfecta, dejando de lado (como ellos hacen) la estética y la ornamentación y focalizándome únicamente en el concepto que quería plasmar.
EN: In the world of graphic design in Barcelona there is a very interesting studio called 'Bendita Gloria', which, since my beginnings, I admire both its projects and its philosophy. I always wondered, how would a monograph created for this unique and peculiar study be like?
With their philosophy always in mind, I considered how I imagined them, devising and conceptualizing the first sketches of their future projects and commissions, and in all this there was always a common theme: I always imagined them having a vermouth in a bar with a notebook in hand and chatting while little by little ideas came to them, in a totally natural way.
From here, the project 'El Vermut - A Monograph of Concepts' was born, representing this idea of mine of their way of thinking so natural and perfect, leaving aside (as they do) aesthetics and ornamentation and focusing only on the concept I wanted to express.
ES: Esta lata de conserva viene envuelta por una faja de cartón con el título del proyecto y totalmente cerrada, para acceder a su contenido hay que abrir la lata por completo.
Dentro de ella encontramos un pequeño 'shoot' de vermut con una lata pequeña de aceitunas rellenas de anchoa, cada una con una de las dos palabras que componen el nombre del estudio y ofreciéndote un pequeño vermut mientras lees la monografía.
Debajo de todo esto, encontramos una serie de cartas sueltas con diferentes formatos y dobleces; por una cara encontramos proyectos del estudio Bendita Gloria, y por el otro información de ellos, se puede leer de manera desordenada e ir desvelando la información poco a poco. Después, al fondo del todo hay tres tiras verticales de proyectos del estudio, para mostrar más de todo su trabajo.

Inside it we find a small 'shoot' of vermouth with a small can of olives stuffed with anchovy, each one with one of the two words that makes the name of the studio and offering you a small vermouth while you read the monograph.
Underneath all this, we find a series of cards with different formats and folds; on one side we find projects from Bendita Gloria studio, and on the other, information about them, which can be read out of order and reveal the information little by little. Then, at the bottom there are three vertical strips of the studio's projects, to show more of all their work.
