PENANG ART DISTRICT SPOTLIGHT ART COMPETITION 2023

Recently, I had participated an art competition called "Spotlight" which is organized by Penang Art District during long semester break. This art competition was held annually which opened to all participants below 30 years old. In this competition, participants are required to create one free topic artwork in any medium and submit on 1st October 2023.

The artwork that I created is "Welcome To My Future World" in a form of digital collage art. As we can see, the world is changing in terms of technology and environmental aspects. In this artwork, the vehicles have been converted from petrol to electric vehicles. This is to help to reduce air pollution that can cause haze. Eco-friendly sci-fi modern buildings are built with smart electrical appliances is to reduce the costs of the energy. Despite the technology has been evolving after the covid-19 pandemic strikes until the government announced movement control order (MCO) in our country, our life has been changed and made our life's easier such as having online lessons and workshops, online ordering products and food in delivery apps and also the usage of e-wallets.
