DESIGNS FOR MAKING DESIGNS
Relational Design explores the performative dimension of design, its context in all its manifestations (social, cultural, political, demographic, technological, philosophical, computational...). The "birth of the user" and the "democratization of the designer" were both events that contributed without a doubt to one of the most unique characteristics of relational design: "the creation by designers of platforms or systems that empower users to generate their work, effectively becoming designers themselves", therefore the existence of "designs for making designs".
This communication project consists of an email that invites people to explore a webpage that is a tribute to the 90s GeoCities websites, that gathers some of the most relevant ideas that comprise Relational Design.
