Rebox is a web application idea based on the fact that boxes are delivered and shipped out each day. Many business owners and sellers on platforms like eBay and Etsy need boxes to ship their products out and many people nearby have boxes from recent deliveries that they need to get rid of. The idea is for a box nearby to be posted with a time limit on how long the person offering the box will hold it before discarding it for recycling. This gives business owners and small time sellers an opportunity to potentially get a box for free which can lower cost of shipping out orders and expand the lifetime value of a box, reducing waste.
