The painting was painted by me after a trip to Armenia.
I was impressed by the subject - everything around me was permeated with light, air, calm and hope. The ancient Armenian monastery of Khor Virap (Armenia) against the background of Mount Ararat (Turkey) sparkling in the rays of the rising sun.
The painting is dedicated to the idea of peaceful resolution of any territorial disputes between the states where people - inhabitants of the same planet Earth - live.
Меня впечатлил сюжет - все вокруг было пронизано светом, воздухом, спокойствием и надеждой. Древний армянский монастырь Хор Вирап (Армения) на фоне искрящейся в лучах восходящего солнца горы Арарат (Турция).
Посвящается идее мирного разрешения любых территориальных споров между государствами, в которых живут люди - жители одной и то же планеты Земля.
