"The Armchair on the Pavement" is a short film by Mary Kolonia, documenting the daily life of retired army general Gerasimos and his wife Olga, as they battle with dementia. To visualise the film's paradoxical title, the poster is symbolic of loss, featuring Gerasimos, the main character, sitting on an imaginary chair in an abstract void. Simple, classical typography echoes the film's pragmatic style, staying clear of excessive sentimentalism and drama.
