These photos were taken at the Elfin forest field trip on September 25th, 2023. The purpose of the assignment was to identify elements of design, then abstract the images to be something entirely different. While I didn't struggle much with the actual photo taking and editing, I did fail to realize I was shooting jpegs the whole time, as I reset my camera prior and blanked on the correct settings to revert back to. Moving forward, I'll be sure to double check my settings so that I am shooting raw. I enjoyed experimenting with colors and abstraction, as I felt it gave a new life to the images that could've otherwise been not super interesting. I feel as though I could improve on quality of editing, as I felt I was kinda just moving stuff until I thought it looked cool. I feel as though I did well with this assignment overall, just need to pay more attention to details and get better at photo editing besides basic color changing and what not.
